LADIES BODY CONDITIONING CIRCUITS

45 minutes for all abilities/level of fitness

 

Improve your stamina, bone density, body strength, balance and flexibility

 

Includes light hand weighs and resistance bands, stretching, balance and low impact exercises.  Matwork is also included. 

 

A fun exercise class to work your entire body

 

Everyone is encouraged to work at their own level in a friendly and supportive environment. All equipment is provided  Suitable for all abilities and level of fitness. Always check with your GP or health practitioner

Wear trainers and layers of comfortable clothes that you can move in

Ladies Body Conditioning is a series of weight bearing exercises  Research suggests our muscle mass starts to declide by 1-2% per year after age 30 years, affecting our body tone, strength and balance

 

The reduction of oestrogen in women after the menopause can make bones less dense and therefore more likely to break

 

As we get older, it becomes even more important to maintain our bone health and muscle strength with weight bearing exercises so we can perform everyday tasks more easily, reduce our risk of falls and keep us independent

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT TO THIS CLASS

Bring your own mat, light hand weights (typically 1kg or 1.5kgs or 2kgs for ladies) and resistance band. These are available to purchase from me (in advance) if you don’t have your own
